When can we join?
There is availability for an immediate start in most classes (you don’t have to join at the start of the term).
Are lessons term time only?
Yes! We run lessons 39 weeks per year during term time so you’re not paying for lessons you’re going to miss when you’re away during the holidays.
How do I pay for lessons?
You can either pay monthly, per half term or full term so there’s a payment option to suit everyone’s preferences.
Do you offer adult lessons?
Yes! Fins 4 Life offers adult private 1:1 or private group lessons so get a few of your friends together and learn at the same time.
How do I book a trial lesson?
Contact Cathy either by phone, text, email, Facebook messenger etc! Please let Cathy know your / your child’s age and current swimming ability including if you’ve had lessons before and if you can swim unaided – how far in metres.
What do I need to bring to the lesson?
Everything you need to know is in the trial information email. You just need swimwear (tight fitting trunks or swimming costume), goggles can be worn in the ‘Beginner Plus’ grades and above, swim hats are required but don’t worry if you haven’t got one for the trial lesson and if your child can’t yet swim unaided, there will be arm discs available to borrow for the trial lesson.
Do parents enter the water with their children?
In the Parent & Toddler classes and the Beginner With Parent classes, yes! Generally if your child is aged 5 and under and hasn’t had swimming lessons before they’ll need you assisting them in the water.
