HOLIDAY COURSES

Intensive swimming courses run throughout most school holidays.

What is an intensive swimming course?

A week long (usually 4 or 5 days) course of back to back 45 mins swimming lessons – the perfect amount of time to pack in lots of learning and fun progressive activities without it being too long, tiring them out and too short where it interrupts the learning!

*Ideally swimmers do need to attend each day to fully benefit from the course, however if you already have plans on one of the days etc I’m happy for you to just attend the days that you’re available if I have the space*. Just ask me!

Which classes are available?

• Beginner With Parent
• Beginner
• Beginner Plus
• Improver
• Advanced
• Artistic Swimming
• Private lessons
All ages are catered for including adults.

What will my child get out of it?

You will see obvious and noticeable improvement in your child’s swimming by the end of the week. The close nature of the lessons only being 24 hours apart rather than the usual week apart makes all the difference. Children not yet swimming unaided usually swim 5/10m by day 4 or 5. More experienced swimmers improve their front crawl breathing or breaststroke timing. It is so worth it to see their progress I promise you! I always get fantastic feedback from the intensive courses:

“Both girls have absolutely loved the intensive week. Emily has progressed so much from starting the week with two magic muscles on each arm to no magic muscles at all. She is so much more confident in the water now. Matilda has really developed her stroke technique, her arms on her front crawl look like a professional swimmer’s arms! A few weeks before the course she was swimming 75 meters, by day 4 she was up to 150 meters -amazing! They have both loved the competition and all of the fun games, thanks for a great week.”
